Citizenship Education Explored through Visual Facilitation

You wish to start the year with more clarity and creativity? Then join this workshop and learn how to think in pictures! We will show how to decompose complex concepts into basic shapes, and explore fundamental elements of visual facilitation and the relation between visual thinking and diversity of the groups you work with.

Visual facilitation helps deliver information in a faster and more efficient manner compared to text-only resources. It can be a great tool in citizenship education, too, helping encourage your target group to get out of their comfort zone and trigger creative, innovative and more action-oriented processes.

You might have already encountered visual facilitation on your personal or professional path, but you don’t dare to try your hand at it because you do not have “good drawing” skills? Or maybe you would like to try it out but you are not sure where or how to start? What if we told you that drawing skills are not necessary to start enriching your activities and projects by integrating visual elements, right away?
